7 Days of School Lunches

So, you’ve decided that you want to fuel your body according to the Divine Design. You’ve ditched the grains, sugars, and industrial oils, and are feeding your family plenty of protein, fat, and veggies, with some fruits, nuts and seeds thrown in.

You’ve gotten the kids on board, and they’re thriving on their breakfasts of eggs, Fit4God pancakes, and fresh fruit. Their teacher has told you how well behaved they are at school – able to sit still, able to concentrate, and no longer complaining of tummy aches.

But what about lunch? How can you keep them stocked with fresh, natural meat and good fats when everything has to be served cold and stay fresh in their locker for hours? Before you resort to sandwiches, pretzels, and juice boxes, let us provide you with a week’s worth of school lunches that will power your kids right through the last bell.

Each day, your child needs a good dose of protein, a dollop of fat, and some veggies and fruits for micronutrients. If they eat all their main foods, you can add a healthy starch or carbohydrate for extra fuel. Choose one item from each column, place in fun boxes and compartments, throw in a freezer pack and a bottle of water, and you, and your kids, will be good to go!
