Fit4God Beef Broccoli Slaw Stir Fry

1-2 tablespoons coconut or olive oil

2-3 garlic cloves, minced

1 onion, diced

6 ounces mushrooms, sliced

1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons Tamari sauce

12 ounces broccoli slaw

2 more tablespoons Tamari sauce

1-2 tablespoons water, if needed

salt and pepper to taste

leftover cooked rice

leftover cooked carrots, optional

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add garlic, onions and mushrooms. Saute for several minutes until softened. Add the ground beef and 2 tablespoons Tamari. Cook and stir for about 5 minutes. Add the broccoli slaw, 2 more tablespoons Tamari, and a little water if needed. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook and stir for about 5 minutes more until the beef is cooked through.

Heat a little more oil in another pan and warm up the leftover cooked rice and leftover cooked carrots until heated through. Add rice and carrots to a plate, then put the beef broccoli slaw stir fry on top. Enjoy!

This is a fairly mild dish. You could add more flavor or heat by using additional garlic salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, ginger, or more Tamari sauce. I liked it mild just the way it was.
